Columbus State’s Fitness Center More Successful than Ever

The Columbus State Fitness Center, located in Delaware Hall in room 082, continues to appeal to active students around campus.

The center offers a variety of cardio machines, weights, mats, and other exercise equipment. There is also free wellness classes provided every day of the week. Some of these classes include yoga, aerobics, spinning, pilates, and much more.

Columbus citizens found the job market in 2009 to be historically bare. Thanks to an economy driving the cost for food, house and car payments, utilities, and gas prices even higher, people everywhere are searching for better (or even second and third) jobs.

With Spring Concerts Coming Up, Students Hope Prices Stay Down

Columbus will soon play host to a few of the nation’s top acts. Upcoming events include the Alkaline Trio hitting Newport Music Hall Mar. 3 and John Mayer at Nationwide Arena on the Mar. 12. In addition, both Mariah Carrey and the Black Eyed Peas will stop at Value City Arena in February: Carrey on Feb. 10 and the Peas the Feb. 16.
