I was shocked and upset when I called the financial aid office today to find out that the state grants previously offered will not be available for the 2009-2010 school year for Columbus State students. I did a little reading into the matter only to learn that some budget cut proposed by Ted Strickland is the reason the school will not be receiving state aid at all for the next year or so.
Hello, I am a second semester student here at CSCC. I am a corrections major. I have two children. I agreed to be a blogger for the Explorer because I believe that there are other students here on campus who would like to hear from their peers here at the college and its surrounding areas.
