Letters to the Editor
My laptop was stolen from my car some time in mid-October.
I admit, it was foolish of me to leave it uncovered even though it was in a case. When I realized what happened, I obtained the phone number for the CSCC Department of Public Safety.
It’s been ten years since I have had the pleasure of meandering down a school corridor, observing my fellow classmates interact with one another.
Such a shame.
I like black ink on my fingertips, and I don't buy the reasoning (for Cougar News' transition from print to online). You see, I've been teaching for 40 years, and I've seen this movie before. It won't save money, and the students will not be served--they'll be pushed further into their own little hovel. Students want to sit around, drink coffee, and point at the newspaper.
I find it incredible that a college with so many thousands of people cannot provide sufficient parking for its students.
A person trying to find a parking space any time past 9 o'clock is usually out of luck. They have to wander around the parking lots and garage for ridiculous amounts of time just trying to find a place to store their vehicle.
